Julita Marcelina Fernandez, 64, of Kailua-Kona died April 6 at home. Born in Honokaa, she was a retired bartender at the Courtyard Marriott King Kamehameha’s Kona Beach Hotel, member of the Kai O Pua Canoe Club, St. Michael’s Catholic Church and ILWU. Friends may call 4 p.m. Friday at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, 74-574 Honokohau St., Kailua-Kona; mass at 6 p.m. Scattering of ashes at 12 noon Saturday in Kailua Bay. Casual attire. Milton Rapozo Branco, Sr., 89, of Hilo died March 29 at home. Born in Hilo, he was a retired surveyor for Murray, Smith & Associates, Inc., a U.S. Army veteran, and member of the Portuguese Golf Club. Visitation 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Hilo; Mass at 10:30 a.m. Burial of the urn will follow at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery #2 in Hilo. Casual attire. Jerry Koichi Takahama, 69, of Hilo, died April 6 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Pearl City, he was a retired mechanic. Private services held.
